Yesterday (16th May) the Prime Minister attended and spoke at the 4th Summit of the Council of Europe whcih was held in Reykyavik. Since its foundation the Council of Europe had only had four occasions on which it has gathered together world leaders to discuss its future.

John has welcomed an additional £3,706,000 of Government funding to help fix the 74,120 potholes across Oxfordshire to improve road standards for drivers, saving them money on repairs, and making it easier to get to work and see family.
John has welcomed the news that South Oxfordshire and Cherwell, which cover the Henley constituency, will benefit from over £1.2 million in new funding from the Government to support local businesses and create jobs to grow the rural economy.
John has written to the South Oxfordshire Conservative Association to let them know that he will be retiring and not seeking re-adoption to stand as the candidate for the Henley Constituency at the next General election.
